A number of life experiences led me to the career path of midwifery. From studying Sociology as my undergraduate degree, as well as post-graduate diploma in Psychotherapy to my work in retail, with youth, and corporate work in case management. My desire to be of service and empower others rang true each step of the way. And while it took a number of years before I applied to the program, it was the home birth of my oldest daughter at home in the care of midwives, that solidified my desire to continue in this work.

I am truly honoured to part of this experience and be part of such a special time in the lives of each client I meet.
