Tricia has worked for over 15 years supporting women, children and families seeking support for mental health issues and opportunities for growth.
With a master’s in social work (specializing in children and families), from the University of Toronto Tricia has worked in community and hospital settings treating acute mental health illnesses and providing families with education and support.
Tricia has been trained in several therapeutic treatment modalities. Some of these include cognitive and dialectical behavioural therapies, attachment and narrative therapy, trauma informed treatment and structural family therapy. She further supports families through the practice of family mediation. Tricia holds a certificate in family mediation from York University and provides this service to couples as well.
As a partner, mother and educator Tricia values the importance of the relationships in our lives and how our health can be transformed by the connections with others and ourselves. Helping individuals solve problems, develop healthy living strategies and feel worthy of happiness and health all inform her passions, practice and commitment to excellent service.
