Simone is a birth and postpartum doula dedicated to improving the wellness of pregnant people and new parents through one-on-one support and community care. After completing a BA in Gender Studies and Indigenous Studies, Simone began facilitating sexual health workshops with the Native Youth Sexual Health Network. Combined with her hands-on experience providing child care, Simone made the natural transition to the doula world. Her strengths are in identifying culturally relevant support and bringing in a community-based approach to health and birth. While she work primarily as a postpartum doula, she is trained and open to attending births.
As a queer doula, she is keen to support non-binary, trans and queer pregnant people, as well as young parents. However, she is happy to support any and all people on their journey!
