Postpartum Doula Services

Once you arrive home with your precious newborn, I provide judgement free
emotional, physical, and informational support for your family during
the postpartum period - also referred to as "The 4th Trimester".  

As parents adapt to "The 4th trimester", I am there to guide the entire
family's adjustment to parenthood. My extended care and support will
facilitate a restful, nurturing environment for welcoming your newborn
and easing into routines.  Whether you are breastfeeding or bottle
feeding, co-sleeping or not, using cloth diapers or disposable diapers, I
respect your parenting styles and philosophies, and will support you
within your ideals.

Services Include:

• Respite care
  - creating a nurturing, restful environment where your family can
  participate in self-care activities and take time for yourselves as
  needed

• Baby care and navigating sibling adjustment (feeding, bathing, diapering and calming techniques)

• Emotional support (processing your feelings about your birth and parenting)

• Evidence based information on newborn feeding, newborn sleep, newborn development and emotional and physical recovery from childbirth

• Meal Prep

• Bottle prep and sterilization

• Shopping and packing away groceries

• Organizing

• Light housekeeping

• Referrals for health professional supports that fall outside a Doula's scope of practice
